Something not working, a question about your subscription, or anything about your data: write to support@trycloserapp.com and a person will answer. Tell us which phone you are on and what you were doing, and we will get to it as quickly as we can.
Connecting with your partner
Closer is for two. One of you shares a code and the other types it in.
Share your code. 1. Tap the empty seat beside your face at the top of Home.
2. Tap your code to copy it, or tap Share code to send it.
A code works for 7 days, and only one person can use it.
Got their code? Type it into the field under yours and tap Connect. You'll see their name before you confirm.
Before they join. Everything works on your own. Anything that needs the two of you opens the invite instead.
Disconnecting. You can have one partner at a time. To connect with someone else, disconnect first in Settings → Edit profile. From then on you stop seeing each other's answers and shared things.

What stays free. Every reveal, the streak, notes, stories and moods, the doodle, the frame, the jar, Draw & guess, home screen widgets, the first deck of every collection and a free deck every day.
Cancelling or restoring. Plus is billed by the store you bought it from, so it is cancelled there: Settings → Manage subscription takes you straight to it. New phone? Settings → Restore purchases brings it back on the same store account.
Your data
Your partner sees your answers to a deck once you have both finished it, and never before.
What they see. The memories you keep, the comments you leave, your notes, stories and moods, and the streak you share. Never a deck you are still going through, and never your story archive.
What we never log. Answers, memory text, comments, place names and coordinates never appear in our logs, our analytics or a notification.
Deleting. You can delete a memory you kept, a comment you left, or your whole account in Settings. Deleting your account removes everything you made in Closer and disconnects your partner. It can't be undone.
